Senior Analyst Brian Tiernan leads a double life. By day he assesses opportunities in renewable energy for Solar 21, by night (and early morning and weekends) he is training for an Ironman event in Italy this September. The event, which takes place around Cervia in the Emiglia Romagna region of Italy, will be a feat of endurance. Brian will have to swim 3.8km in open water, cycle 180km and then run a marathon!Brian only starting doing triathlons in 2014, and had to sit out half of 2016 because of knee surgery, yet he managed to place third in the Dublin City Triathlon in August 2017, proving that he is well and truly back on track.Solar 21 is proud to sponsor Brian.
